Bridging the Gap

Be it already over-discussed, tweeted, or blogged; I want to be a broken record and express my thoughts about the iPad.

It may have its cons, but the pros outweigh them in my opinion. Would I own this device within first year? I don't even have an iPhone yet, so no. First things first. Is Steve Jobs the man? Yeah, but Jonathan Ive is "thee" man.

Nostalgic Steel

My dad tipped me off about these billboards across Detroit, Michigan. As a classic car buff, I couldn't resist posting them; and the copy is clever. It's just too bad Chevy doesn't make them like they used to.

Refresh Everything

You won't find Pepsi at the Super Bowl, they'll be spending ad dollars differently. Pepsi's "Refresh Everything" campaign asks consumers to think up ideas that will make the world a better place, promising $20 million in grant money to fund the winning causes.

Starting January 13, visitors can submit their ideas to refresheverything.com. On February 1, voting will open to the general public, who will decide which ideas deserve funding. The $20 million will then be divided up into grants and dispersed.

Fresh idea Chiat/Day, I'm digging it.
